Carrier Forest Products Ltd. - Environment Certifications
Carrier Forest Products is committed to responsible stewardship of the environment in its forest practices. To this end, Carrier Forest Products has implemented and maintained an Environmental Management System.
To further the commitment of responsible stewardship, Carrier Forest Products has also certified its forestry operations to the SFI (Sustainable Forest Initiative) 2022 Standard, which promotes sustainable forest management with measures to protect forest values such as soil, water quality, biodiversity, wildlife habitat and species at risk.
Carrier Forest Products is also committed to Chain of Custody (COC) certification. COC certification verifies that a company has a system that traces the flow of wood from certified forests through a company's facility. Carrier Forest Products was included in Carrier Lumber’s COC multisite certification in 2013.
