The Carrier Group is currently accepting applications for a Full Time Receptionist position at our Prince George Head Office.

THE QUALIFICATIONS:

This role is entry level and is a great position for someone starting out in an administrative field. We are looking for someone who is able to work fulltime Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and will be punctual, organized and friendly. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work well with others, be a motivated self-starter and think critically on their own.

The following qualifications are preferred:

• Welcoming and outgoing personality
• Confident working with formulas in Excel workbooks and Word documents
• Exceptional organizational and record keeping abilities
• Excellent task and time management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and move between tasks effortlessly

THE DUTIES:

• Greet guests and direct inquiries to appropriate employees
• Answer a multi-line phone, directing and relaying telephone messages
• Prepare daily banking
• Coordinates travel and accommodations for employees
• Assist in the planning and preparation of meetings
• Handle all incoming mail and distribute accordingly
• Assist with data entry and administrative tasks as assigned
• Maintain office and coffee supply inventories

This is a full-time, salaried position of $19.00 to $21.00 an hour depending on experience. A competitive industry benefits package is available. THE QUALIFICATIONS:

• Prior sawmill or planermill experience is preferred.

THE DUTIES:

The ideal candidates are responsible to perform the physical duties involved with cleanup and/or production duties in both sawmill and planer environments including, but not limited to:

• Sweeping and shoveling, walking on even and uneven surfaces, pushing a wheelbarrow and using a power saw.
• The candidate must be able to lift up to a maximum of 50 lbs.
• Preference will be given to candidates who exhibit attention to detail, a safety-conscious attitude, and impeccable attendance. 

Wages are $36.86 an hour as per the collective agreement and include a competitive benefits package.
